Storage Information
Kombucha is a naturally fermented drink that continues to grow healthy live cultures. To keep it fresh and at its best, store your kombucha upright in the refrigerator as soon as you receive it. Do not freeze the drink, as freezing can affect its live cultures.
You can keep kombucha at room temperature, but be aware that it will continue fermenting, which may cause the flavor to become a bit more sour and tangy, with a vinegar-like taste.
If you prefer drinking kombucha at room temperature, simply remove it from the fridge and let it sit until it naturally warms up. Do not use hot water, a microwave, or any direct heat, as these methods will harm the live cultures that give kombucha its unique health benefits.
